Lamp, Rynearson & Associates, Inc., a civil engineering, survey, planning, and consulting firm with a solid reputation for its recognized clients, projects, and people, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Survey Lead position in its Omaha, Nebraska office, one of its four locations. Duties include strategic and operational planning related to conventional survey services and new surveying/geomatics technologies, policy and standards development, business development, project management, contract negotiation, equipment purchases, budgeting, and customer relationship management. The Survey Lead shall ensure a smooth interface with all offices and with other disciplines within the Company. Extensive client contact is required for the purposes of retaining existing clients and developing new clients.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include…

Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in surveying and/or geomatics-related field.
10 years of experience in geomatics-related field.
10 years of progressive experience in the Land Surveying profession preferred.
Licensure as Land Surveyor in the State of Nebraska or ability to obtain registration within one year is desired.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations.
Possess strong technical writing skills.
Ability to work well with, coach and direct others.
Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
Strong knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
Ability to handle and coordinate multiple tasks.
