Job description:
The candidate would provide direct oversight of the LiDAR acquisition including flight planning, LiDAR processing, classification, and assist in scheduling.
Additional responsibilities: Oversee assigned staff; provide technical guidance; monitor staff performance; communicate with with Project Managers on project issues and coordinate with other Leads to transfer data and information; assist with estimating; review budget and schedule; quality of assigned LiDAR projects; and continual evaluation of work flows, technical strategies and alternative solutions to improve performance, throughput and quality.
Candidate must have an understanding of the following: LiDAR systems (hardware and software); data processing (ABGPS/IMU and LiDAR vendor software); basic understanding of geodesy, surveying and datum transformations; LiDAR classification software; personnel management.
Position is considered to be assigned to first shift
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferably in related field and two years industry experience; or a minimum of 7 years industry experience.
