We are building a team of highly-skilled solution engineers to work directly with customers to define product development including sensing and analytics technologies. As a member of the Sales team, you will use your skills as a problem solver and technologist to add value for our clients. We’re looking for individuals who are natural evangelists for sensors, data, and the insightful information they can provide. You’ll work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to research, design, and propose end user solutions that combine advanced sensing and analytics technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Sales Support. Assist sales representatives in completing project estimates, proposals, and similar support necessary to win sales on specific projects
• Provide insight. Craft a vision and plan to combine various data sets from various technologies to deliver business value to our clients
• Communicate. Translate business requirements to technical requirements
• Review. Ensure our solutions are safe, effective, and compliant
• Learn. Attend conferences, trade shows, and related industry events
• Build relationships. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products and improve existing products
• Product Development. Design and recommend sensing and analytics solutions
• Grow. Be willing to become an expert in a technical domain or in a client industry

Job Requirements


Qualifications

Basic/Required:
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in GIS, Land Surveying, Remote Sensing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a challenge until it is solved
• 3+ years of experience using current GIS/CAD platforms to provide insight to a business
• 2+ years of experience working in Utilities, Transportation, Oil & Gas, Land Development, Engineering, Mining, Land Survey, or related industries
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:
• 2+ years of experience with manned or unmanned sensing technology (i.e. UAS)
• Experience in a technical sales or sales support role
• Working knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. SalesForce.com)
• Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
• Ability to travel locally and throughout the US, up to 25%
• Ability to travel internationally, if needed.
