Job Description


Be part of a dynamic leading-edge team as a Geospatial Systems Administrator. This position manages 50+ servers in a multi-tier, enterprise environment that supports locational based users across the state of Washington and the public. The position has a great mixture system of administrator, customer's service and programming challenges. Some key components of this position includes researching, planning, coordinating, implementing, installing and maintaining new and existing software into a complex environment. This is your chance to demonstrate and apply your skills and knowledge of information technology principles, methods and techniques to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex hardware, system and applications issues.

Job Requirements


A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields. May substitute 4 years of additional required IT experience for education.
Minimum of 5 years' experience. This experience should include:
Windows Server Administration in an enterprise environment at an Expert level. Must have had experience installation, configuration and maintaining Windows server systems to include: Imaging of windows server for deployment, Troubleshooting using system logs and tools, NTFS permission inheritance and settings, TCP/IP networking in windows systems, Registry system setting and editing, Setting standards, processes and procedures.
Recent professional level working experience using geospatial software and hardware in a web application environment.
Experience trouble shooting issues and providing technical support software and supporting tools in a large technology environment.
Knowledge and experience in all systems development life cycle stages.
