Job: Survey Technician, GeoSearch, Inc., Tampa, FL
The position requires a minimum of an associate’s degree (or equivalent) in computer aided drafting and design techniques from an accredited college or technical school, plus a minimum of five years of practical CAD experience. Qualified candidates should possess the following skills:
Ability to read and understand maps, legal descriptions, deeds and construction plans
Ability to interpret survey field notes to prepare boundary surveys, topographic surveys and right-of-way surveys
Understanding of survey total station and GPS equipment sufficient to download field data
Ability to research information from various sources, including surveys, aerial photographs, LiDAR data, title reports, survey plats and various county documents.
