Job Description

As a Director of Geospatial, you will lead a team of operational and project managers to scale and expand the services in alignment with corporate growth objectives.

The position will work in collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Geospatial, Market Leads, local and regional office managers to expand the geospatial business in the primary markets of Electric, Transportation and Oil & Gas.

Leadership and business development skills are essential to the team’s success, and as a Director, you will be primarily responsible for acquiring new business, while ensuring the team maintains existing client relationships. Your duties will include planning, directing and coordinating geospatial business development with the seller-doer project team, and to develop inter-department relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive internal and external client relationships
Serves as Company representative at meetings and presentations
Lead Business Development for Geospatial Projects, and maintain strong client relationships.
Develop and conduct presentations to clients and other critical stakeholders.
With the Geospatial Operations Manager, review performance data (financial, budgets, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels
Monitor and develop professional staff to maximize their potential
Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base nationally
Analysis of situations or data that leverages in-depth knowledge of company strategy, cross-functional operations, and organizational dynamics
Support corporate strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

Required Experience, Education and Skills

BS/BA required, advanced Master’s degree preferred
20+ years of expert level industry knowledge
10+ years of advanced management/leadership experience
Experience managing P&L greater than $10 million annual revenue
Ability to resolve critical issues impacting the business
High degree of long-term strategic thinking within a complex business unit or company
Ability to generate revenue via business development with clients within industry
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential
