Job: GIS Programmer, ASRC Federal, Salt Lake City, UT
We are currently seeking a Geospatial Programmer who is a skilled geospatial application developer who understands multiple programming languages, configuration management, interface design, and data integration tasks within an enterprise geospatial services environment. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
•Technical Support Services: Provide programming expertise and consultation in best methods, practices, and approaches to web mapping application development and configuration. Recommend solutions for programming web based applications to consume, display, query, and process geospatial data in a variety of formats. Provide programming expertise and consultation in best methods, practices, and approaches to developing geospatial applications web and mobile environments. Ensure recommendations include emerging trends in technology, industry best practices, and agency specific information technology environments.
•Data Integration: Integrate geospatial data, tabular databases, and spatial models into geospatial applications utilizing Geodatabases, ESRI and OGC data services, SDE, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online and other web based mapping technologies.
•Must have integration experience with geospatial data, tabular databases, and spatial models into geospatial applications utilizing Geodatabases, Esri and OGC data services, SDE, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online and other web based mapping technologies.
•Working history of making critical development recommendations and enhancements while programming web and mobile applications that consume, display, query, and process geospatial data in a variety of formats.
•6+ years of experience in programming
