Job Description


We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help us build new functionality, increase scale, and deliver quality work in an agile environment. Cloud DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations while following strong software design and process principles to meet our client demands. The successful candidate will be both independent and collaborative and possess the desire to continuously learn and teach others about the newest technical advancements. You'll work with a talented team to deliver engaging web and mobile mapping applications that have a direct impact on our clients and their global missions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deploy and configure cloud services in Azure and AWS, such as AWS Lambda, Cognito, ALB, Dynamo DB, Step Functions and API Gateway and Azure Application Services, Function Applications, Cosmos DB, and Event Grid.
• Deploy and Configure databases and other programs on servers, both on prem and cloud
• Install and Configure ArcGIS Enterprise
• Plan deployment strategy for web applications
• Estimate costs for application infrastructure
• Manage internal IT assets

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience deploying and configuring cloud services
• Experience maintaining network infrastructure
• Experience planning deployment scenarios
• Experience estimating and infrastructure costs
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of AWS technologies like S3, SQS and EC2
• Excellent problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills
• Interest in mapping technologies: Experience with ArcGIS a plus
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, we cannot sponsor
