Job Description

For this particular role we are seeking people with the following experience:

• Relevant education, a degree in a field such as GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or Engineering
• 5+ years of the GIS/Geo-Spatial/Imagery/3D experience
• 3+ years of Insurance Industry experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a customer-facing sales engineer or solution engineer role
• Experience in Insurance Industry property characteristics databases (2D/3D Geospatial, AI)
• Functional knowledge of API/Programming, Python Scripting
• Experience in creating compelling user-stories by leveraging Geospatial data-stacks
• Gift of making a compelling sales argument to sell value
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to simplify and explain technical details to a business audience
• Strong time management and organization skills
• A passion to learn and grow, you absorb and learn from others
• An entrepreneurial spirit

A typical day for you may look like this...

• Builds relationship with key customer stakeholders serving as a technical liaison from pre-sales to post-sales
• Become a trusted advisor by utilizing your technical expertise, insurance ecosystem workflow knowledge and understanding of remote sensing solutions to actively engage in strategy and client messaging
• Partner with NA-Insurance prospects and customers to understand their business constraints and requirements, and addressing those when recommending the best available product solution
• Understand content delivery requirements, and advise on the best delivery method for customers to get the most value from data content and products
• Creating technical demonstrations and documents for presentation to the customer describing the benefits of the proposed solution
• Partner with the NA-Insurance sales team and provide technical cross-functional training and support
• Actively participate in strategic planning by liaising with all necessary parties in the execution of RFI/RFP/RFQs
• As necessary, assist sales and marketing with the development and delivery of technical content for webinars and trade shows
