Our client is a leading developer and provider of software products and services for highly accurate geospatial data conversion solutions looking to add a Technical Software Development Product Manager to their team. This role reports directly to the CTO and assists them with the delegation of developer tasks, deliverables, and other supervisory functions.
We are looking for someone that can:
Manage developer workloads and assign daily/weekly tasks, supervise deliverables, and Release/Feature timeline management.
Help prioritize and validate the issue backlog in JIRA.
Direct team to best practices including interdepartmental communication.
Assess and potentially execute new system for code review.
Manage expansion of unit testing.
Onboard new senior developers.
An ideal candidate can demonstrate:
· Excellent communication (verbal and written), as well as an upbeat, get it done, personality.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize what is the critical path and what is not and escalate as needed.
· Experience with the full software development life cycle including design, testing, deployment, documentation, and support activities.
· 3+ years of project management, problem-solving, business planning and analytical skills
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with technical projects - website, mobile, desktop, and custom software development.
Experience in Geodesy or GIS is desired, but candidates with advanced math skills will be considered as well.

Bachelor's degree or higher required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, STEM or equivalent experience required.
Preferred to have 3 or more year’s experience working with Visual C++, C# in a Windows environment
Experience with Agile project management and tools, including Jira and Confluence.
Additional skills in Azure or AWS cloud design and development, managing Jenkins CI system, and GCC on Linux environments are appreciated.
